Summer: Tignes sits the edge of the Vanoise National Park and there are many walking and hiking routes for you to breathe in the sensational mountain scenery. Some of the best mountain bike and road cycling routes are right on your doorstep, as well as a multitude of other sports e.g. glacier skiing, white water rafting, golf, horse riding, swimming, tennis, fishing, parapenting and rock climbing.
Tignes Lake is not to be missed when visiting Tignes, a great place to go and relax. There are a range of sports on offer: volleyball; boules; table tennis; table football; children’s playground; and much more.
There are 18 hole courses at Tignes and Les Arcs, both with 9 hole par 3 courses adjoining. Clubs can be rented on site. There are 3 driving ranges.
